45 minute conversation
This will help us to understand whether Equity Release could be right for you and give you a clearer understanding of how we can help you. It will enable us to gather enough basic information to prepare some initial ideas without any cost or obligation on your part.
STEP 2
Receive information from us
We will email (and post if required) our initial findings which will demonstrate that we have understood your requirements and provide some information on solutions that could work for you. This is something that you can consider at your leisure and we would encourage you to take your time and discuss our proposals with your other family members.
STEP 3
Second conversation
Another conversation, either at your home, by video call or telephone will give us a chance (and your family members if you would like them to be involved) to answer questions and fine tune the advice. This will ensure that you are completely happy with the recommendation and fully understand the process before going forward.
STEP 4
Property valuation
About a week after we start the process with you, we will arrange for your property to be valued.
STEP 5
Mortgage Offer
The lender agrees to offer a mortgage and sends paperwork for you to check and sign.
STEP 6
Legal advice
Your solicitor will meet with you to make sure you are happy with all of the terms and report back to the lender on your behalf.
STEP 7
Funds
Receive funds to spend as you wish.
